NHS Drug Bill

According to a news source more must be done to curb NHS spending on prescription drugs. The commons public account committee want GPs to steer away from branded drugs since they are too expensive, prescription drugs spending has almost doubled in the last ten years
The pharmaceutical industry claims new medicines are under used by the NHS,
not over prescribed, though any profit making industry would say this. With cancer
rates rising at the same rate as allopathic medicines it looks to be another profitable year for the pharmaceutical industry.
