Stopping the spread of MRSA

The prime minister has stated that he is to tackle the rise of MRSA and C difficile that is flooding our hospitals.

Health secretary Alan Johnson stated that there is a deep cleaning program that will be a initiated later this week, but is this to little to late?

Where hospital infections abroad are much lower, should we adapt there policies on isolation wards first, because we could have the cleanest hospitals in the world but if you are placed in a bed next to some one who has not been screened then nothing will change and infection will still rise.
