The words Strike fear in to most people that do not understand this unique and beneficial health practice. Imagine the body as a car. With the right fuel and water, it takes you anywhere you want to go, enabling you to get on with your day to day life, a vital component in this world. Now imagine putting the wrong fuel in that car, or forgetting to put water in the carburettor. The garage you take it to just look at you and sigh, telling you it's clogged up or burnt out.
Your body is like that car. Unless you are one of the few who live an organic life, your body is taking in chemicals you don't even know about, even meal you eat.

Colon cleansing is the first stage in the process of gaining back a healthy gut.
The detoxification process begins with the clearing out of a CLOGGED COLON before any deeper cleansing program can begin. Sadly many people are unaware of how clogged their colon can be, even when they have one elimination a day, there can be a build up of toxins in the system.
One simple way to indicate how efficient your system is in breaking down the foods during digestion, is to eat a portion of sweetcorn and then monitor how long it takes for your system to pass it out.
This time period is referred to as your transit time.

A long tussle concerning the validity of Homeopathy
between the world`s most famous homeopath and probably the world`s most
well known `quackbuster` appears to have come to head in December 2008
after 5 years of to-ing and fro-ing. On the one side is Homeopath
George Vithoulkas, whose International Academy for Classical Homeopathy is based on the island of Alonissos in Greece. On the other is American
magician and skeptic, James Randi who heads what he calls The James
Randi Educational Foundation, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Vithoulkas and Randi are equally passionate in their diametrically
opposed views and an easy meeting of minds was never very likely.

What are EFA’s?
These are fats that are essential to the body’s optimum functioning. They cannot be made by the body so must be obtained from the food we eat.
The main EFA’s are:
• Omega-3
• Omega-6
• Omega-9 (non-essential as the body can make some as long as it has plenty of Omega 3 & 6).
Why do we need EFA’s?
They have a large number of roles within the body, including:
• They generate and maintain the fatty membranes which surround every body cell.
• They are important for memory and brain function.
• They help maintain healthy hair, skin and nails.
• They are essential for maintaining a healthy hormone balance, good eyesight and a strong immune system.
• They offer protection against heart disease by helping to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. They increase the ‘good’ HDL cholesterol and decrease the ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol.
• They can be converted into prostaglandins which help transmit important information vital for controlling inflammatory reactions and activity of the immune cells.
